Christmas at Northcote Manor

The perfect destination for a traditional Country House Christmas, set in 20 acres of spectacular woodlands, lawns and gardens. The perfect venue for Christmas parties.

Christmas Eve

Arrive at your leisure and settle into your luxurious bedroom or suite. Relax and enjoy a delicious afternoon tea in any of our lovely drawing rooms or by the fire in the bar from 3pm. Dinner is served between 7pm and 9pm. Mulled wine and Canapés begin your evening, before enjoying your dinner prepared by Richie, our Head Chef and his team. Our harpist, Siona Stockall will provide gentle entertainment during dinner and any requests are more than welcome.

Christmas Day

A traditional country house breakfast will be served from 8am to 10am in the restaurant or a continental breakfast of croissants and pastries in the comfort of your own room. A walk in the grounds or to the nearby village of Burrington is highly recommended to build up your appetite for lunch. The sumptuous Christmas Luncheon, a 4 course meal , will be served from 12.30pm in our restaurant and its at this time the frivolities generally take hold!

The afternoon is yours to relax and recover! – We have a no service period between 4.30 – 5.30pm when the staff take a well-earned break to enjoy their lunch.

Tea and Christmas cake is served from 5.30pm (just in case you are still hungry) Dinner this evening takes the form of an impressive buffet complete with dressed salmon and delicious cold meats, but is still informal enough for you to enjoy your meal in the restaurant or take upstairs as room service with a bottle of wine!

Boxing Day

After the indulgences of the day before, breakfast will be served from 9am to 11am leaving you free to go and explore this beautiful part of North Devon. A lovely packed lunch can be provided for the day at an additional charge. Afternoon tea is served from 3pm to sample again some more of Richies’ delicious cakes and pastries.

The Boxing Night Dinner is served from 7pm.

Christmas 2008

The rates are PER PERSON for No of nights stated and must include 3 nights 24th , 25th & 26th , they are inclusive of accommodation and the package as described and VAT @ 17.5%. A non refundable deposit of 25% of the total cost will be required to secure your booking. We will add a 10% service charge to each final account (this applies to Christmas and New Year only). We are happy to cater for any special diets throughout your stay but would appreciate prior notice.
