Northcote Manor is proud to be part of the rich history and heritage of North Devon, and as such, we try to source the very best produce from the Devonshire Country side. Wherever possible we support local suppliers and have always found their produce to be of the highest quality.

Heal Farm, Kings Nympton
All locally sourced meat, including North Devon Red Ruby Beef, which is hung for four weeks. Lamb which have been fed on fine grass and wild herbs, breeds will include Shetland and Southdown. Pork, sausages and bacon are from Tamworth Pigs and Berkshire pigs. Chickens are Ross Cob Hybrid Chickens and their ducks are Aylesbury Ducks. These animals are all fed on low density, high fibre foods. Anne Petch, owner of Heal farm enthuses that "Our basic philosophies are as strong today as they were thirty years ago, We are more passionate than ever about the creation of good food,old fashioned breeds reared in a traditional farming system produces the best tasting pork." To Anne's astonishment she discovered her five times great grandfather Sir Robert Peel created the Tamworth Breed! Some may say that producing top quality breeds is destiny.
