Northcote Manor is owned by Mr & Mrs Jean Pierre Mifsud and is managed on a day to day basis by Mrs Cheryl King
Cheryl trained at Cheltenham & Gloucester College of Higher Education and Gained her BSC Hons in Hotel & Catering management. Being General Manager at Northcote Manor is extremely rewarding with two days never being the same. Cheryl is also one of the wedding co-ordinators who will ensure your special day is everything you hope for.
Shebion has been here over four years and can always been seen front of house, ensuring your stay is everything you wish for. Shebion has studied business studies so is well equipped to organise your conference in style and is also one of our very talented and friendly wedding co-ordinators.
John & Judy are a lovely Hungarian couple. Judy is an important member of our restaurant team, taking orders and serving. Judy will also be the one who looks after our private dining groups in the Oak Room or Conservatory. She has also become our Wedding Assistant, so you will meet her on an initial tour. John can be found most days helping Steph in housekeeping, he is also available in the evening for 'turndown service' so if you need anything in your room, don't hesitate to contact him.
Mitchell is a great character from New York, he has been at Northcote for just under a year and believe me when I say, nothing is too much trouble. He has recently been promoted to Bar Manager and is always looking into new wines for the lists. if you have a favourite and would like it during your stay Mitchell will do his best to get it.
Jennie, our receptionist can be found 'under the stairs'. She knows north Devon really well and can organise golf, horse riding, massages or a Devonshire cream tea! Kelly deals with the marketing and PR for the hotel, If you have seen anything in the press advert or editorial this will have been devised by Kelly.
Richie leads the kitchen team including Russell and Will who you will meet for a post dinner chat each evening.
The grounds at Northcote Manor are looked after and cared for by Barry. He was instrumental in clearing our Japanese Garden and updating our Orchards. If you need to know anything about the flora and fauna in our grounds, Barry is certainly the person to ask.
Our Head Housekeeper is Stephanie and her team do a wonderful job, Steph was awarded a runner up status is the AA Housekeeper of the Year 2010 Awards. Steph is always on hand, should you need extra linen or your bags carried down after your stay. Don't forget to use our Northcote Manor Teddy Bears if you wish not to be disturbed.
