Enjoy our sizzling summer Sundays

CHEF RICHIE and his brigade will be lighting the barbecue from 12.30pm on the patio in our beautiful walled garden overlooking the Japanese water garden. You can look forward to mouth-watering food and sophisticated
al fresco fun in the perfect summer setting.

Later you can relax in the conservatory or wander Northcote’s beautiful grounds. Why not finish off the afternoon with a game of croquet? The lawn has probably the best view in Devon overlooking the wooded Taw Valley. It’s the perfect way to spend a summer afternoon.

Sundays through July and August:
July 6th, 13th, 20th, 26th, August 3rd, 17th and 24th.

Jazz on The Lawn at Northcote

Back by overwhelming demand the Roger Marks Armada Jazz Band will be setting up on the front lawn to perform their own brand of traditional jazz from 2.30pm. Bring your own picnic and relax in the grounds or pre-order a Northcote picnic from Head Chef Richie and his brigade to collect on the day including a 1/2 bottle of champagne~£15 per person. Cream Teas and a Pimm's bar will be available.

Murder Mystery Weekend in a Luxury Hotel

Cocktail dresses and bow ties will be essential evening wear on Friday 19th September when Creme de la Creme Casino set up for a sophisticated evening of high stakes and high jinx. A black tie dinner will be served from 7pm following champagne and martinis over canapés and the fun casino will begin after dinner from 9.30pm

On Saturday 20th September the Manor will be the venue of a murder most horrid filled with super sleuths at the ready to solve the mystery. The afternoon can be whiled away warming up your investagatory skills with a Northcote Manor Treasure Hunt and a cream tea by the crackling log fire. The evening will begin with cocktails at 6.30pm and a chance to mingle with the other guests and get your first impressions ~ does the colonel seem a little on edge? Is the woman in black really as friendly as she seems? Did the butler just slip something into that drink?

A black tie dinner will follow during which the mystery will unravel culminating in the exposé of the murderer. Who will the villain be?
