imaginative & inspiring
Northcote Manor is a wisteria clad 18th century manor house set in 20 acres of gardens and mature woodlands. Whilst we pride ourselves on meeting all the needs of our guests, its historical significance means that there are a number of period features, which might make access difficult for people with, limited mobility. Northcote has 16 ensuite bedrooms most of which are situated on the first floor and access is via a flight of stairs, in some cases two flights. Due to the age of the property we do not have a lift. However our restaurant, conservatory and lounges are all on the ground level and are accessible. We are pleased to offer the following services and facilities:
You can contact us prior to arrival by phone on 01769 560501 or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org. Our web site www.northcotemanor.co.uk provides in-depth information about Northcote Manor and our surrounding area including road maps and directions.
For satellite navigation purposes please type in ‘Portsmouth Arms’. Please do not use our postcode, as this will bring you through the back lanes! We are located up a mile driveway from the main A377 in-between Crediton and Barnstaple. We are approximately 45 minutes from junction 27 on the M5.
Umberleigh Train Station is 3 miles away. You need to take the ‘Wales and West’ line from Exeter to Barnstaple. This is a request stop, so please make sure to let the driver know. Please call us to arrange a taxi for you; if we are able to, we are more than happy to collect you from Umberleigh. This needs to be pre-booked with an estimated time of arrival.
Eaglescott Airfield is located approx 5 minutes from us.
