Our Devon larder is stocked full of delicious local produce ready to be freshly prepared and served for your unhurried enjoyment.

The restaurant provides a seasonal gourmet menu complete with exceptional wines specially recommended to accompany each course.

Our Gourmet Menu changes every two months so that Head Chef Richie Herkes can enjoy cooking with the finest local seasonal ingredients. Devon offers delicious produce and we like to make the most of it.

Currently Richie is enthusing about ~ white asparagus. Far less recognised and sometimes even shunned by green asparagus fans, the white asparagus is defined by a thicker chunkier stem with a pale white colour with little 'rust' or colouration. The taste is mellow and some say sweet by comparisson to its green brother. The asparagus is usually the same variety but the cultivation is very different. Green asparagus is grown above ground and allowed to photosynthesise whereas the white sister is grown out of sunlight in mounds of soil and cut very quickly with specialist tools so as not to damage the stems and allow the asparagus to colour in the sunlight. It is a short lived delicacy at its best in May & June and as such Northcote manor will be making the most of this delight.

Choose a delicious bottle of wine from our acclaimed wine list and sip from the finest glassware at your linen covered table in our intimate candle lit restaurant.
