Finest, Freshest and Local – nothing but!
We take our food seriously here at Northcote Manor; ever-striving to maintain the highest standards of culinary expertise, in our award-winning 2 AA rosette North Devon restaurant. Our focus is on creating a relaxed and convivial atmosphere in which you can enjoy the finest and freshest that North Devon can deliver; from our lush green pastures to our bountiful sea.
We’re inextricably linked to the seasons too! Head Chef, Richie Herkes changes our menus change every 2 months, allowing seasonality to influence the dishes created by our culinary team.
We love to please…
We derive enormous pride from creating dishes that delight and surprise both guests and non-residents alike, in our sophisticated yet informal restaurant. We’d love to surprise you, so do come and see just how good we can be!
Neither stuffy, nor pretentious...
Just imagine a beautiful evening under our dramatic North Devon skies, nibbling delicious canapés and sipping a refreshing aperitif, whilst you select from our tantalising dinner menu on the sun terrace, or perhaps whilst ‘toasting’ your toes in front of rip-roaring log fires. Ponder on your choice of delicious wines to complement your meal, from our acclaimed list – a member of our friendly staff will be happy to guide you. Then savour an ‘amuse bouche’ followed by three delightful further courses; all presented in an unhurried fashion just for your pleasure. Bon appétit!
For the love of fine food...
We are justly proud of our Gourmet Cuisine Club; it’s our opportunity to ‘show off’ a little; to demonstrate the true flavours and wonderful quality of all that beautiful Devon has to offer.
